Waterlogged does not turn millimetres of rain into centimetres of river, and does not use this panel to move a clear-line, a gauge ranking, an alert or anything else on the site. Rain sits after the measurements, never before them.

Forecast precipitation
Status: rain forecast not yet enabled. Waterlogged shows forecast precipitation only under a paid Open-Meteo commercial contract, and no contract key is configured on this deployment. The official services linked below publish their own rain forecasts.
Rain may slow a fall or create a rise after losses and routing. Waterlogged does not convert this forecast into gauge centimetres or a cruise-disruption probability.

Why the same rain does different things
Rain has to reach the river before it changes a gauge, and how much of it arrives — and when — depends on how wet the ground already was, how far up the catchment it fell, whether it fell as snow, and what the locks and reservoirs in between are doing.
