Schöna

The border station at Schöna, where the Elbe crosses out of Bohemia — the water Dresden and Děčín both get, read before it arrives. We show it to say where the river is coming from; it carries no model, so it never moves a call.

Linking is not endorsement. The publisher controls its own page, its own values and its own terms.

  • ELWIS — German federal waterways notices and navigation information

Waterlogged does not reproduce or interpret the values on this page. Linking needs no licence; the notice text remains governed by the publisher's terms, so Waterlogged does not scrape it into a report.

History on this date

The same-date history panel for this gauge is not available in this build.

This is measured history, not a forecast and not an estimate of disruption probability.

Rain in the next 14 days

Status: rain forecast not yet enabled. Waterlogged shows forecast precipitation only under a paid Open-Meteo commercial contract, and no contract key is configured on this deployment. The official services linked below publish their own rain forecasts.

Rain may slow a fall or create a rise after losses and routing. Waterlogged does not convert this forecast into gauge centimetres or a cruise-disruption probability.

Source, licence and limits

The last German gauge before the Czech border, on the free-flowing Elbe upstream of Dresden. CONTEXT ONLY: the level is fetched live from the official PEGELONLINE station SCHÖNA (requested as the ASCII id SCHOENA and translated in the adapter, exactly as Cologne/KÖLN is), but no depth model and no reference marks exist for it, so it carries no risk model and cannot change any call. The Elbe reach is scored from Dresden, which is the controlling gauge.
